Start Beading

Placing beads is slow in the best way: steady, visible progress. Set up the board so it cannot slide, then work in sections you can easily verify.

Prepare tools

Use the right pegboard, sorted beads, tweezers, and a flat workspace. Keep the pattern visible while placing.

Start with edges or big blocks

Edges help anchor the shape. Large color blocks build confidence and make missing spots easier to notice.

Work by section

Divide larger designs into zones. Finish one area, compare it with the reference, then move to the next.

Protect the board

Do not drag the pegboard across the table. If you need to move it, lift it with both hands and keep it level.

Final check

Look for wrong colors, missing beads, diagonal slips, and edge beads that are not fully seated.

Practical tips

  • Use tweezers for tight areas.
  • Keep elbows and sleeves away from the board.
  • Check outlines before filling final gaps.
